The most forgiving model in the G440 series – the MAX – features a lighter construction with a longer shaft (46"), which translates to faster clubhead speed. Free Hosel technology and the Carbonfly Wrap crown helped save weight, creating the lowest center of gravity in the history of this model and increasing forgiveness, while also giving shots a pleasant, muted sound.
PING G440 MAX combines modern technology, engineering precision, and solutions proven on the PGA Tour. The Free Hosel construction shifts mass lower, which stabilizes ball flight and makes it easier to hit fairways.
Carbonfly Wrap Crown further lowers the center of gravity and improves acoustics, while the adjustable 29-gram weight at the back of the clubhead allows you to set a draw, fade, or neutral position, adapting the trajectory to your playing style. The Trajectory Tuning 2.0 system offers loft adjustment of ±1.5° and lie up to 3° FLAT, providing maximum personalization of settings.
Counter-balanced Alta CB Blue is a lighter shaft designed to increase clubhead speed while providing a mid-high to high launch. Thanks to counter-balance technology, the shifted balance point allows for better utilization of swing energy, which translates to longer ball flights and greater shot consistency.
